    Hundreds of Companies to Attend Nottingham Business Expo 2016

    Hundreds of Nottingham companies are expected to come together at the Motorpoint Arena on March 3rd for the Nottingham Business Expo.

    The second annual Expo is a chance for companies to network, promote and encourage new business. Organiser Andy Whyles, from events firm All About Tourism said: "We are extremely proud to be hosting the 2016 Nottingham Business Expo at the newly named Motorpoint Arena.

    "With the success of last year's event we are keen to make sure that this year exceeds that and that event cements itself in the regional business calendar for years to come. Many companies are exhibiting again this year after the positive impact the event had on their companies.

    SAM Software Solutions Ltd are exhibiting on the day, Neville Hunter, Managing Director SAM stated: There was lots of interest in our products and services last year so we are looking forward to this year’s expo.


    The change of venue to Motorpoint makes for an even better show this year, you’re all welcome to come and have a chat with the team at our stand. There will be roughly 70 stands, 15 hubs and 26 concourse stands plus outdoor space at this year's event. The Expo will run from 9am and finish at 4pm on March 3. Nottingham Business Expo 2016 Political speaker and television presenter Andrew Neil and founder of lastminute.com Brent Hoberman will be speaking on the day. Paul Southby, Chairman of Marketing Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, will also be speaking on the day.
    The Dragon's Den style 'Bull Pit' competition where businesses will have the opportunity to present an idea, invention or plan to a panel of Nottingham's business experts.

    Digi-Pen Writes the Way

    Sometimes field workers just don’t like PDAs. Often nothing to do with them being technophobes; they just prefer the simplicity and efficiency of a good old fashioned pen and paper. The Digi-pen writes on paper just like an ordinary pen but sends the information back electronically to your control system (eg, SAM), together with a copy of the original -it’s truly amazing and is already in extensive use within the public sector.
